Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to the Saturday 7.
In the Old Testament, God made a family from one man, Abraham, and promised him his descendants would be as many as the stars in the sky. But with the promise came a responsibility – to bless the whole world. In the New Testament (Galatians 3:29), Paul says anyone who is in Christ is part of this family of faith. It’s our responsibility to bless the whole world, too.
You may dream of giving significantly more to the charities you love, but often that seems out of reach. With non-cash giving at NCF, you can tap into the power of your appreciated securities, real estate, and business interests – not just cash – to potentially reduce taxes and give more than you ever thought was possible.
Soon after Randy Alcorn became a Christ follower, he became a giver, and he found great joy in the practice. Listen as he shares stories from his journey of faith and how his book, The Treasure Principle, is training an entire generation of believers how to use a temporal resource to experience the kind of life Jesus promised.
Your favorite causes may be top of mind when you give, but there are so many others to consider. Check out 58 categories in our grantmaking causes PDF, and ask God to spark a passion for a new cause as you discern where to give.
Saturday 7 is brought to you by our team at the National Christian Foundation (NCF). We would love to help you create your Giving Strategy™ so you can experience more joy and adventure as you pursue a life of generosity. Find an NCF location near you at ncfgiving.com/locations.
